It was a typical HOT day in the dog days of August in Pensacola. Clouds were forming all around and the Sun was in and out. (That made it a little more bearable.)
The line was long to get to the seats for the commissioning ceremony. It looked like everybody in Pensacola had turned out!
The ship looked really nice all decked out with her flags, ready to take her place in harm's way.
