Recent Activity at the Port of Pensacola
The new truck waiting cue has greatly improved the efficiency of the port in working with the cold storage facility. Now, freezer trucks can wait in an orderly manner until called to unload their cargo. The cue was added late in 1999. Other improvements are planned for 2000 as well.
Pensacola's exports of frozen foods has grown tremendously in the past few years.
