This Photo appeared in the Florida Journal of Commerce in September 1967. It shows the "new" Port facilities that had recently been completed following a plan that had been approved in 1964. The rebuilding was necessary due to fires which destroyed the former L. & N. Railroad and the Frisco Railroad docks. The area that this photo represents are where the L. & N. docks were. At this time the port operated under a Port Authority with Phillip Alvarez serving as Port Director.
