National Marine Sanctuary - Pacific Islands Region - NOAA's Maritime Heritage Program in the Pacific Islands Region.
National Maritime Historical Society - One of the Nation's most Outstanding National maritime Heritage organizations. Publisher of "Sea History magazine.
The Naval Historical Foundation: A non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and promoting the full range of naval history.
Nautical Research Guild, Inc. - Publishes the "Nautical Research Journal" for people who want to learn more bout maritime subjects and ship modeling.
Maritime Museum of San Diego - An excellent maritime museum consisting of ships, including the 'Star of India" and 'HMS Surprise' the ship used in the "Master & Commander' Movie.
Columbia River Maritime Museum - The Offical Maritime Museum of Orgeon and said to be one of the finest on the West Coast.
Battleship USS Alabama - The USS Alabama is located at Battleship Park in Mobile, AL.
Aircraft Carrier USS Lexington - The 'Lady Lex' is now a museum in Corpus Cristi, TX.
the Museum Small Craft Association - The MSCA is a national organization made up of people who work to preserve traditional small water craft.
Lake Pontchartrain Maritime Museum - Sponsors an annual wooden boat festival in Oct.
Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum - Located on 18 waterfront acres in the historic town of St. Michaels, Maryland. It tells the story of the Bay and the people who have shaped their lives around it.
NOAA - Celebrating 200 years - This site chronicles the beginnings, transformations, and visions of the future for NOAA, which celebrates 200 years of science, service, and stewardship in 2007.

American Victory Mariners Memorial & Museum Ship - A restored Victory Ship of WWII that has been turned into a museum in Tampa, FL.
The North American Society fo Oceanic History - This Society was created in 1973 to provide a forum for maritime history.
Maritime Museum Rotterdam: A great Maritime Museum of Europe. The impressive 19th century gunboat 'Buffel' is moored right next door.
Canada's Naval Memorial H.M.C.S. Sackville: A wartime naval corvette circa 1944 converted into a naval museum for the benefit of all Canadians.
Mystic Seaport Museum - One of the World's leading Maritime Museums.
Steamship historical Society of America - It is considered the authority on engine-powered vessels.
Historic Naval Ships Association - Headquartered at the U. S. Naval Academy Museum in Annapolis, the 'fleet' includes ships in Aisa, Europe, Australia and South America as well as the United States. It assists its Fleet Members in the acquisition, restoration, and display of their museums and memorials as well as volunteer support from the public.
Battleship USS North Carolina - The USS North Carolina Battleship Memorial is located in Wilmington, North Carolina.
Gloucester Maritime Heritage Center - The Center is a living history museum where the work associated with an industrial harbor goes on each day.
Alabama River Museum - Located at Claiborne Lock & Dam in Franklin, Alabama, this museum is operated by the Monroe County Heritage Museums.
