Bayou Chico is a wonderful mix of yachts, shrimpboats, tugs, barges, marinas, condos, homes and commercial terminals. Fighting its way back from many years of pollution, it is an excellent example of how nature triumph if given the proper assistance.

Pensacola is growing rapidly and the Bayou Chico area has much to offer a growing community. More businesses are locating around the Bayou providing jobs and economic benifits to the community and the property values are rising with many up-scale homes and condos seeking this area.

Ann Costello and Dr. Bob Austin are both Bayou Chico residents and both are active in the Bayou Chico Association.

The Presentation is in 2 parts with Ann giving some historical overviews and Dr. Bob talking about what the future may hold for the Bayou area.
